WHAT I DO AND WHY

My goal is to inspire and help others find and adhere to Truth in their own hearts, homes, families, and communities. I do this through writing and speaking; I want to meet you where you are and help with the current need of your parish or ministry.

After three decades of working for the Church as a catechist, Director of Religious Education/Parish Catechetical Leader, and Pastoral Associate, my desire to help individuals, parishes, and ministries has only deepened. My experience has fanned the flame of enthusiasm and sharpened the focus of every word and every effort to serve people and inspire them in our spiritual journey.

This blog is written in the hope that it will reach those who need the kind of encouragement, support, ideas, and resources offered here.

For parishes, ministries, and groups, presentations are "custom fit" to your current needs and situation. Before I bring my presentation to you, I want to know your specific needs and desires.

I also collaborate with pastors as a local resource I wish I'd had as a DRE and Pastoral Associate, with individual projects or more comprehensive assistance. There is no one-size-fits-all system to fit each parish's unique dynamic, particular gifts, and specific challenges. Together we pray & assess, optimize & collaborate, and work to motivate for mission.

I want to serve the Church by serving you, in the specific ways you need.

Every parish and ministry operates in a unique way, even though all have the same major goals.

But MY goal is NOT to impose my own ideas on your project, or force your process into my own program.

My goal is to help YOU achieve YOUR GOALS (as a parish or ministry) by doing what I can to support YOUR INITIATIVES.

I'D LIKE TO KNOW HOW I CAN HELP YOU!

That's why every presentation begins with a consultation about what you are working toward and what your needs are at this moment.

Then we agree on how I can help you with the specific needs you have right now.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER TO MEET YOUR NEEDS

Whether your group is large or small, just breaking ground or ready to dig deeply, a finely focused presentation from a guest speaker can be the spark that helps ignite a new initiative or bring fresh flame to an ongoing project. The major themes are intentional, missionary discipleship and prayer/sacraments. PRESENTATION TOPICS can be tailored to suit your particular needs, including, but not limited to:
