A beautiful tradition at the parish cooperatives where I work is our women's events. 

These have been mostly "Candlelight" events, but during Lent, we are having a simple morning of reflection.

One of the most essential elements of parish events is the warmth of personal invitation. This simple gesture opens wide the doors of our parish to women who might not otherwise attend, who may not even be parishioners, or who might be looking for a church family. 

So you are encouraged to invite relatives, friends, neighbors, Bible study companions, or other school moms! If you are not in the area, see what is happening at your local parish for Lent and invite friends to that!
